DIWC SCHOLARSHIP
The Diverse International Women Of Color Study Abroad Scholarship is intended to assist women of color who are exceptional in their studies and in need of financial assistance to study abroad.
DIWC will award $500 scholarships to women of color who have been accepted to an In-Person Study Abroad Program or Study Abroad International Internship (must receive college credit).
The application dates and deadlines for Summer 2026, Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 programs are as follows:

Application Deadline: April 12, 2026 at 11:59 pm EDT
Notification of Awards: June 1, 2026
Distribution of Awards: June 8, 2026

Application Period: June 8, 2026 to July 20, 2026
Application Deadline: July 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EDT
Notification of Awards: August 24, 2026
Distribution of Awards: August 31, 2026

Application Period: October 5, 2026 to November 16, 2026
Application Deadline: November 16, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST
Notification of Awards: January 4, 2027
Distribution of Awards: January 11, 2027
*Important* DIWC is still monitoring COVID-19 travel advisories and will make changes accordingly as these dates approach to determine what countries students are eligible to complete their study abroad programs.
